Child Champion

Child Champion Consulting is a social enterprise composed of a team of early childhood and child development professionals, education leaders, parents, and researchers who are on a mission of championing children through various forms of support and services. We share a common goal of building a society where children are safe, secure, and supported.

We provide consulting services and organize workshops for families, educators, and organizations that work with young children.

We design and implement programs aimed at promoting quality early education and care.

We advocate for research-based policies, practices, and systems that promote the holistic development of children.

OUR ADVOCACY

What We Stand For

We established Child Champion Consulting in response to the situation analysis of children in the Philippines conducted by NEDA and UNICEF indicating that an estimated 2.85 million children aged 5-15 are not getting the quality education and care that they deserve. Majority of these children are exposed to various forms of violence and abuse that are detrimental to their well-being and development.

We strongly believe that, we, adults should do something, no matter how small, to help these children rise above these challenges. We need to stand for them so they may thrive and achieve their full potential. After all, they are the future of our nation. As Dr. Rita Pierson said,

“Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connections and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be.”

Inspired by this statement, we are committed to continually address the most critical issues and challenges that young children are facing today. The good thing is, we are not doing it alone. We have a community of child champions working with us.
